Welder/Fabricator

Requirements:

• Dependable and willing to report to work on time
• Lift up to 70 lbs
• Supply gloves, welding helmet, basic set of fabricating tools
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Highschool Education
• Proficient with MIG, Plasma and Oxy Fuel
• Proficient with basic fabricating tools
• Driver’s License
• Able to work in a safe and efficient manner
• Willing to perform other duties assigned by management

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in welding is a plus!
• Gives attention to details
• Own a reliable vehicle
• Exercise Time Management
• Communicate effectively in English

Responsibilities:

Complete projects from start to finish by;

• Interpreting Blueprints and weld accordingly
• Preheat and/or cut work pieces using a hand torch when required
• Clean welds of excess weld, splatter or slag using chipping hammers, wire brushes or grinders
• Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformity with specifications
• Execute Quality Control
